| Shows: | Costume Classes - Fun and Fantasy
Profits for the benefit of Japanese Chin Rescue - trophy for winner of best human costume and best dog costume kindly donated by the Japanese Chin Club of the Carolina's - non Chin affiliated surprise judge.
Please come participate at our new endeavor of two fun and fantasy costume classes! It will take planning ahead on your part! Entries taken up to an hour before the class which will be pre the Chin dinner as entertainment.
Entry fee $15 per class.
The people class is judged on the costume of the person. Use your imagination - everything encouraged from realistic presentations to flights of fantasy! Costumes may portray anything with a Japanese theme. (Please no near naked Sumo wrestlers - robed wrestlers allowed! Keep your presentation tasteful.) All humans must be accompanied by dog or dogs.
The Chin class is judged on the costume of the dog. Use your imagination - everything encouraged from realistic presentations to flights of fantasy! Costumes may portray anything with a Japanese them. (Nearly naked dogs allowed. Humans need not be in costume.) One dog or grouping of dogs per entry, but must be accompanied by human.
Same costumed dog may be in both classes.

Just list class and owner. Make checks payable to Japanese Chin Club of America.
The 2010 Specialties will be filmed by National Show Dog Video Professionals.

$30 one time cleaning fee if dogs in the room.

The cost will be $70 one way plus $15 pet charge. Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance and can only be made between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
RV Parking is available at Wayne Fitzgerrell State Recreation Area, 11094 Ranger Road, Whittington, IL 62897, (618) 629-2320 or (618) 724-2493.
Located approximately 1 mile from Rend Lake Resort. Rates are $20 per night, including electricity.
Sites are paved and there are 20, 30, and some 50 amp outlets. Water and sewage available on site.
Prior reservations are not accepted, but there is ample space for everyone.
Plan to check in at DNR Office upon arrival and make arrangements for payment.
RV Parking is also available through the Army Corp of Engineers at four locations. Reservations can be made by
calling 877-444-6777 or at their website. Rates are $16 per night including electricity or $24 per night including electricity and water.
